Randi Frank of the Center for Enriched Living, JJ Hanley and Jake Joehl of JJ's List talk about advocating and empowering people with developmental disabilities. www.centerforenrichedliving.org www.jjslist.com The CEL is a private, charitable organization that helps people with developmental disabilities live more independent and fulfilling lives through education, recreation and social activities in a safe, fun and welcoming environment. With its wide array of programs offered seven days a week, CEL annually serves over 600 youth and adults - from Chicago and more than 50 surrounding communities. The mission of JJ’s List is to create positive interaction and communication between businesses and people with disabilities by giving people an on-line place to share information about the disability awareness of the businesses and services in their communities. At www.jjslist.com, visitors review the disability awareness of businesses. Since JJ's List launched in March, more than 400 reviews have been posted, and almost 100 businesses have enrolled as “Bridge Builders” in the Disability Awareness Directory.
