Have you ever contemplated your life and wondered if this is what “life is all about”? That’s the question Roz Savage asked herself before leaving all of her comforts behind to pursue her life’s calling.

Join Cloris Kylie as she interviews British ocean rower, environmental campaigner and keynote speaker Roz Savage. The first woman to have rowed solo across three oceans (the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian), Roz will share the lessons she’s learned during her journey to inspire action for the environment.

About Roz:

Roz Savage, MBE, holds four world records for ocean rowing, including first woman to row three oceans: the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian. She has rowed over 15,000 miles, taken around 5 million oarstrokes, and spent cumulatively over 500 days of her life at sea in a 23-foot rowboat. She uses her ocean rowing adventures to inspire action on the top environmental challenges facing the world today.

Roz has spoken to tens of thousands of people across six continents. She has been listed amongst the Top 20 Great British Adventurers by the Daily Telegraph. In 2010 she was named Adventurer of the Year by National Geographic, and in 2013 she became a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the Queen’s Birthday Honors.

Roz has authored two books: Rowing the Atlantic: Lessons Learned on the Open Ocean, and Stop Drifting, Start Rowing: One Woman’s Search for Happiness and Meaning Alone on the Pacific.
