My guest today, Melanie Smithson, has journeyed through her share of grief and stress and has lived to tell the tale. Dragged to her first dance class at the edge of four, the power of movement and the wisdom of the body is in her bones (and muscles, fluids, nervous system). Her various titles include Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Dance Movement Therapist, Certified Sedona Method Coach, Certified Hypnotherapist, and Master of Arts. Earning each molded and shaped who she is and how she perceives the world. And they have given her many modalities to play with in her life and psychotherapy practice.
She is co-owner of Smithson Clinic, Inc. with her husband, Gail, in Denver, Colorado, where they live with their supreme playmate, the four-legged Beatrice.
Melanie offers workshops and trainings throughout the world. To learn more about, visit www.melaniesmithson.com.
