What Does Addiction Have To Do With Spirituality?

We come to earth to forge our spiritual mastery.  What better way to do that than addictions?  In each lifetime, we choose and experiences  for the purpose of evolving our consciousness to gain spiritual mastery.  We come and our forgetfulness of who we are is activated.  We are never victims because it is our choice that brought us here.  Our test is to allow ourselves to trust the Divine (our God) and surrender to God’s will.  
Addictions provide the perfect venue for showing us who we are not so we can remember who we are.
