Is monogmy unatural

Should we rewrite the marriage vows to reflect the new  views and freedom people are seeking  outside there marriages. Is lust a instinct. In recent decades, the debate over human evolution has entertained  only two options: Humans evolve to be either  monogamist or polygamist. It takes real mature and highly evolved  men and women to handle monogamy in the face of sexual ignorance.  I wonder why God made thou shall not commit adultery one of the ten commandments?
