Tonight I will be joined by a few great men to discuss the state of the Black community in America with the recent killings of Eric Garner and Michael Brown. Although Americans, we as a subculture have been labeled and considered to be less than on systemic and interpersonal levels. We have had many devastating occurances over the past decade with unarmed men being killed by police officers and have had moments of uniting as a community and attempting to produce change, but it seems to flatline at some point until the next tragedy happens.

What can we as a community do to change what is going on? How can we call for and produce systemic change from those who run police departments, governmental agencies and make laws in our nation? What are our responsibilities in the continuation of a racist mindset towards Black people in America?
