Susan Chernak McElroy (Knilans) (www.preservationbeekeeping.com) (www.americanskep.wordpress.com) has been a beekeeper for about seven years. But the insights she has gained into the consciousness and communications in the world of bees have been developing since long before that, during her time working with and rescuing animals of all kinds. She was able to break free of the programming we all carry, that animals are lower creatures, functioning by "instinct," with practically no intelligence, compared to us brilliant human beings, masters over the Earth and all its life forms. Susan tuned into the deep emotional and perceptive awareness of animals, and the communications they have been attempting with humans that we never understood.

I was introduced to Susan by Lost Arts Radio guest Jacqueline Freeman, who was on the show recently with a spectacular presentation on bees. It seemed that Jacqueline's story and inspiration would be an impossible act to follow, at least on the subject of bees, but I was wrong. Susan Chernak McElroy, author of Animals As Teachers And Healers, Animals As Guides For The Soul and Heart In The Wild, will be with us the Sunday night, and you'll understand what I mean.
