Happiness for any reason (money, cars, clothes, yachts, islands, etc.) is just another form of misery. That’s because happiness is a state of being. It is that feeling of love and contentment that lies within each of us. It can also be seen as the LIFE underneath the life situations that we perceive as “problems”. As such, unlike material gains that come and go or otherwise loses its value and appeal, happiness is a permanent dispensation that is available to us through our awareness of it. As we become aware of this ever present stream of well-being that is the cornerstone of our existence, what shows up as a so-called problem will prove to not only be a figment of our imagination, more importantly it is our inner guidance’s way of letting us know that it is time to reach for a thought that feels better. With this simple shift in focus the so-called problem literally dissipates and its’ true purpose which is the opportunity for growth, is revealed.
Without exception there is a Spiritual solution to every problem, and is well-articulated in the teachings of Dr. Wayne Dyer. Further in one of his most famous quotes he reminds us that “When we change the way we look at a thing the thing that we look at changes…” Namaste!
