When you take an action you have avoided but isn't necessarily hard,you are at the first level of fear, called a "stretch". Breakig through to the next level of fear is a "risk". The "die zone" usually consits of situations that you have successfully avoided for a certain period of time or that you would never even think of geting involved in.
