Lance Lopez Sr. the President of PBA Local 105 is our guest on the next edition of Live From Trenton.  PBA Local 105 represents New Jersey’s Correctional Officers, Juvenile Justice Commission, and Parole Officers comprised of over 5,000 members. The union is responsible for the protection of all of New Jersey’s citizens every day.

We’ll discuss with Mr. Lopez the many issues affecting correction officers in New Jersey including violence in the prisons; why PBA Local 105 is calling for the term “restricted engagement” to be used in lieu of solitary confinement; and the need to improve morale among workers
