However it is with a sad note that I report our Friend and frequent show participant - "VIC FROM IOWA" has passed away. Vic's story while unique to himself - shared many aspects of our own lives, with the exception that he wouldn't quit drinking. 

This weekend - December 10th, we will Dedicate the broadcast to the memory of our friend Victor, and try to understand some of the obstacles that he experienced - as he grappled with this disease of alcoholism. 

I will say the Vic that we - Steve, Ken and myself had come to know was a kind, caring, childlike individual - whose lifetime of of achievements were overshadowed and watered down by his Drinking problem.

Our show airs at 7 PM Central Standard Time (CST) and runs for 2 hours until 9 PM. It is a LIVE Broadcast and we welcome ALL Callers to call in and be acknowledged for any length of Sober time. We will explore the differences with being SOBER & SOBRIETY - asking poignant questions and offering up real truths from those of us who actually work programs in recovery.
