There is an invisible web of unacknowledged truth in American culture regarding the place of and how we take care of our elders. The wisdom of our ancestral blueprints remembers the balance between generations.
The task of regaining this balance belongs to all of us, young and old. We are all called to acknowledge our elders (they have walked the earth more than the ones who come after them) and wake up to ways in which unseen suffering has been passed on to the next generation.
