Maybe two dozen fry will swim madly to become Boston's next mayor. Surely, surely not all will get their 3000 sigs and run, but maybe a dozen or 18 will. Heading toward the September primary, hopes, promises and lies (and pleas for cash) will smother voters. Every daily mail will bring cards and knob pitches.
We'll look at the not-all-that-diverse field. We finally see one woman, and African American at that, amidst a few men of color scattered among the usual demographics.
At least five of 13 City Councilors will run, all but one stepping down. That means big changes in City Hall by itself.
We can speculate with the best, and worst of them. Tune in for a taste.
