Under the unusual, yet terribly sensible, MA law, Mike has solemnized four marriages here. CA recently enacted a version of the long-standing privilege. The short of it that this lets any adult conduct the ceremony and sign the license legalizing the union. In MA, it takes a petition to the Governor. Mike talks about how it work and the joys and preparation for marry long-term friends, a son, and others, different-sex and same-sex, and what a minister friend told him was "poaching."
