Victoria Dolma My special guest today on Book Talk Radio is Victoria Dolma. She is the author of a book called With You On the Path. Questions most frequently asked by Buddhist Prisioners, with responses. Victoria Dolma has been studying Buddhism for over thirty years, taking teachings primarily in the Tibetan tradition. Upon seeing a notice in a 1997 issue of the Snow Lion newsletter from a Buddhist prisioner requesting a pen pal, she began a prison correspondence which has vastly expanded and continues to this day. To offer a helpful reference, and cut down on the need to answer repeatedly asked questions, she has assembled With You On The Path. Previously, she compiled another prison book, She At Snow, the life story of a female practitioner who did a 12 year solitary retreat on the grounds of an American Buddhist monastery. She also writes for Snow Lion. Victoria Dolma has helped countless Buddhist prison inmates through her newsletter correspondences called The Victory Banner. She lives with her husband of 44 years, in Washington D.C. Together, they have one son an artist, who formatted her book. Her book With You On The Path helps Buddhist inmates answer difficult questions in reference to Anger, Attachment, Buddha Nature, Choosing a path, Compassion, Death Row, Dharma, Ego, Emptiness, Fear, Forgiveness, Karma, Meditation, Patience, Pride, Refuge, and other important topics that Buddhist inmates experience while being incarserated. Please join us on Book Talk Radio with your host Lawrence J. King as I get the privelage of having a one on one interview with this amazing woman. Victoria Dolma has helped Buddhist inmates all across the country. OM MANI PADMA HUNG
