The Journey Foundation

Founded in 2004 by Contemporary Jazz Recording Artist and 5-time Grammy nominee Norman Evans The Journey Foundation creates positive interventions for children and their families by providing relief through donations of food to low- to moderate-income families of children attending schools in Anne Arundel County. The Foundation fosters a belief in the opportunities available for children in real tangible terms, thus impacting their daily lives. A joy of learning advances the confidence and self-esteem of children and their families, and providing them with food removes the sense of isolation and hopelessness. The Journey Foundation's Mission: To provide relief for low-moderate income families by providing food service of students not being serviced. To provide a major building block for the successful engagement and adherence to the academic and social rigors of middle school. Our children will: · have successful outcomes · develop a positive belief system · acquire an academic proficiency and · a positive ethical balance
