The Board approved a one year rollover contract extension with our largest bargaining unit, AFSCME general and also our AFSCME Nurses unit. It included a 1% increase for all members for the cost of living. Our Board Chair, Heather Buch, voted against approval even though the bargaining units voted to approve them because she felt we should give them bigger increases with YOUR TAX DOLLARS! What do you think is fair during period of double digit unemployment and millions of still employed workers taking pay and hours cuts?
