In a 4-1 Lane County commissioners voted to approve the first reading of ordinance 20-03 with the second reading scheduled for May 5 of an ordinance to require hotels and motels to accept government vouchers for people who are subject to homeless people who are subject to quarantine.

West Lane County Commissioner Jay Bozievich (and host of KRBN Internet News Talk Radio) was the only "no" vote.

It should be noted that many local hotels and motels have refused to accept these patients for obvious reasons.

Plus - Jay was on the KXL's Lars Larson Show today talking about this issue.
