Dan is the manager of the Waste Management Division for Lane County.

Lane County is trying to close a $1.5 million annual shortfall in the system's budget. A consultant has recommended some pretty controversial efficiency measures including closing many of our rural transfer stations. Dan will explain how the current system works and is financed and the options the Board has been weighing to make ends meet. He will also answer your questions if you call in.
