Representative Jim DeMint of South Carolina was accused of creating a political stunt by wanting to force the Senate to read the 1900 page omnibus bill aloud

apparently the tactic worked as Senate majority leader Harry Reid pulled the bill from consideration.

a closer look at the bill revealed that the bill actually contained over 6000 items of earmarks to include items like $500,000 for Denver bike sharing, $500,000 for street scraping in Clark County, Indiana, etc.

it was an attempt to try to pull the same thing that they did with the health-care bill hoping that our representatives were to lazy to do their job and therefore get the house to fund some of their pet projects however, this time it didn't work.

Net Neutrality what is it and what does it mean to you?

the FCC wants control of the Internet and to allow Internet providers to provide aid "tiered service" in order to control the Internet pipeline.

The beauty of the Internet is that it has always been an unregulated medium because nobody really "own the Internet" which of course bugs the heck out of government so the FCC has decided to remedy that and stick its nose into regulations.

We'll be talking about these items and more at our normal time at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
