Oregon Update--offended over the American flag...

If you're offended over the American flag... then get the hell out of our country!

When I saw this story where officials in Denair California TOLD a middle school student to take the US flag off his bike for his own safety and to avoid racial tension because people at the school were complaining about him displaying the flag of OUR COUNTRY, however it is okay for Hispanic students to display the Mexican flag during Cinco de Mayo holiday is totally BS.

Where has this country come to when people have to be afraid of retaliation for proudly displaying old glory?

It is unfortunate that it took pressure from around the country to force the school to apologize to Cody and to allow him to display the flag on his bike.

So what do you think? Should this type of attitude be allowed, should we be embarrassed to fly old glory? Have we really become a country where we are embarrassed to be an American? And are we going to stand up and say we're not going to take this anymore?
