Oregon update -- Tax day and Tea Parties

April 15... the last day to get your taxes filed and a day where millions of hard-working Americans stood in unison in over 800 protests around the country to express real concern against reckless government spending and spawned millions of Americans to get involved in their local tea parties which today are holding elected officials accountable............................. However, despite the turnouts, there are other organizations such as tea party crashers.org who do not agree with the tea party movement and who plan to infiltrate the tea party gatherings in order to discredit the movement. According to KATU April 15, 2010 http://www.katu.com/news/local/90895144.html Jason Levin is a teacher at Beaverton’s Conestoga Middle School and says in his free time he is leading a group of more than 500 people to crash Tea Party protests around the country on Tax Day. "We are a nationwide network of Democrats, Republicans, Independents who are all sick and tired of those loose affiliation of racists, homophobes, and morons; who constitute the fake grassroots movement which calls itself the tea party. We want to dismantle and demolish the tea party by any nonviolent means necessary and we will succeed by in for creating the tea party itself..."
