Scott Wolf is a thought leader with more than 20 years’ experience in the media industry, building businesses and managing sales teams.  I will be asking him about his career, hriing practices and leadership philosophy.

He joined Everyday Health in 2005 as Executive Vice President of Sales. Since then, he has been an outstanding contributor on the senior management team and instrumental in driving the company’s growth. He played a strategic role in the launch of EverydayHealth.com; doubled sales in his first year and has continued to grow sales revenue by 50 percent per year, year over year. Wolf leads a dynamic team, which he expanded from three employees to nearly 100, who are responsible for ad revenue generation, sales development, client services, public relations, and corporate branding.

His impressive resume includes positions as the Senior Vice President of Sales for Muzak, Vivendi Universal Music Internet Division, Net Creations, and CMP Media. In all his roles, he was extremely successful in building and maintaining strong sales figures. Starting at CMP Media, a leading technology publisher, he was the first sales person to achieve $10 million in career sales. Wolf then started CMP’s paid circulation division, where as VP/Group Publisher, he launched and managed Windows magazine, HomePC, and NetGuide magazine and built them into a $100 million division (growing the circulation from zero paid readers to 1.8 million paid readers in a 5-year period).

Wolf holds a master’s degree in marketing from the Stern School of Business as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Pennsylvania.
