From one of the last players on the 105-man roster in 2012 summer camp to a team captain and on the doorstep of the NFL, running back Dare Ogunbowale exemplified Wisconsin's walk-on legacy.

Ogunbowale is in the Tampa area, practicing and competing in the East-West Shrine Game (Sat. Jan. 21, 2 p.m. CST, NFL Network), and speaks about his training after the Badgers' 24-16 Cotton Bowl victory, being invited to the NFL Combine late next month, and his Wisconsin career.

The former walk-on has impressed during practices this week, and his abilities on and off the field should intrigue organizations looking for a versatile running back
