Isshinryu Today presents Isshinryu Bunkai w/Forrest & Vena

Good evening and welcome to Isshinryu Today, tonight's host Renshi Kyle Forrest of Team KIA, Kyle's Isshinryu Academy, Lexington North Carolina and his co-host/executive producer, Kancho Daniel J. Vena inheritor of Ed McGrath's School of Isshinryu Karatedo & Kobudo will be talking about Bunkai. The empty hand and kobudo kata's of Isshinryu have designated basic bunkai, it is our job to teach the basic bunkai, and allow the class to evolve and expand on the basic application. We are inviting several Isshinryu Sensei and Kyu's to the program tonight and trying to spark a conversation on how they practice the bunkai of our kata's.
