Kenyan Parliament was treated to spetacle when they had to stop business for 20 minutes to discuss an fellow MPs' mode of dress. The subject of discussion was Makadara legislator Gidion Mbuvi, who was wearing white stud earrings and sunglasses in the debating chamber. . Assistant minister George Khaniri notified the Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim that Mr Mbuvi was inappropriately dressed in the House and that his attire besmirched the dignity of the august House. . “There’s a precedent and therefore he’s improperly dressed,” he told the Deputy Speaker. The youthful MP who is famously know for his unofficial dressing including a lot of jewellery,could not escape the house furry. A section of members in the house found it offensive for an honourable member to be in eye earrings and sun glasses. Is Sonko's demeanor acceptable or does he truly represent the youth ??
