Kirk Sorensen is a founder of Flibe Energy, Inc. and currently serves as President and Chief Technical Officer.
Prior to founding Flibe Energy, he served as Chief Nuclear Technologist at Teledyne Brown Engineering.
Previous to that, Kirk worked for ten years at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center.
Kirk graduated with a Masters of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology . He also graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University and is currently completing an advanced degree in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Tennessee
