New Secret...What is the VA Medical Foster Porgram

The VA Administration offers a housing option that very few veterans have heard of, the Medical Foster Homes.  Judy Chandler, VA Coordinator of the Medical Foster Home Program will discuss this alternative to long-term care placement or nursing homes.  The goal is to offer aging in place in a home-like atmosphere.  Caregivers across the nation may be certified to provide 24/7 care in their home, a maximum of three veterans, but usually one or two.
