The Condemed,The Damned and the "Othered"

What is being "othered"This is a term meaning not like the rest.Since the dawning of civilization rulers used this methodology to disenfranchise groups and separate them from the mainstream.In America the Black community is a victim of othering.Things that would be normal to the majority such as the presumption of innocence,character,individuality,respect are reserved for the majority.We see this in the way many people are saying young brother Trayvon Martin got what he deserved on the night og Febuary 26 2012 when he was shot to death by George Zimmerman.Is this a case of the othering of a Black youth?Many people say Trayvon was no angel.What happened to boys will be boys?Are Black youths allowed to make knuckleheaded actions?Does society hold our youth to a different standard?Tonight I will show evidence on why we are othered,and this is so deeply ingrained into the American conscious it is impossible to change.Tonight the Kalagenesis will deliver a fire and brimstone Sunday Night Sermon on the"Othering of Black America"
