I have more with business consultant and coach Chris Steely. I asked Chris to help me better articulate some of the thoughts and ideas I have been trying to convey through informed not inflamed. First, we Americans spend too much time getting involved in the fight between Democrats and Republicans. Neither party – along with the media – are solving our problems that are affecting our lives and our livelihoods because powerful special interests are controlling our laws and regulations. In particular, we’re not addressing our aging demographics and the Medicare tsunami that will hit and possibly destroy our nation. We fail to prepare for new technology with training that could help us create more jobs. So, I asked Chris, if we can’t get our leaders to change, then how can we as a people change? We act too much like victims who are entitled.
“I call it the mindset with which our culture is afflicted… about awareness… love the way you put it together, John… still grand experiment… capitalism… not working out that way… we have to be responsive… Idiocracy the movie… two perfect storms of thought… the first is the victim based society coupled with entitlement thought and obliviousness. The second perfect storm of thought is ego, ego-centered rather than being service oriented, add to that power and then greed. We can do something about it. You have to figure it out. Lots of reasons and excuses of why we can’t do things… Change our world… it starts with you now.”
To me what I am trying to get people to look at …. Stop the Republican democratic fight… chris says it is about balance… ego power and greed applies to politics… so corrupt and broken…
