Mike Guggino was born in Rochester, NY and grew up in its surrounding suburbs. Guggino was always interested in engineering and mechanical systems, and actually worked as a mechanic for quite a few years prior to and while attending college. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. While in college he often bumped into Mike Wegley the founder of Pro Tech, although he originally met Wegley back in junior high.
Guggino began his career at Pro-Tech in 1995 and has been involved in all aspects of the business from maintenance, marketing, welding, sales, finance, risk management, you name it, Guggino has done it! With 18 years experience it is no wonder he was recently names the new CEO.
On a personal note, Guggino is an eligible bachelor who enjoys hiking, camping, dirt bike riding, snowmobiling and ordering pizza with his son Nick.
