Should a father have rights to visit his children(s) if he can’t pay child support.? This week the Telegram Newspaper posted an article by: Dr. Torri Evans
I recently got married to the man of my dreams in May of this year. I have a 2 year old son by someone else (I'll call him Marcus). My husband (I'll call him Jeff) is very good to me and my son. We have no children together and Jeff has no children. Jeff spends a lot of quality time with my son and treats him as if he were his own son. He even introduces him to everyone as his son. The problem is Marcus wants to come and visit his son. Marcus does not pay child support, does not help out, does not give me money, nor has he been in his life until he recently found out I am married. Jeff does not want Marcus to see my son and I do not either. But my family thinks we are wrong for not letting Marcus visit his son. Any advice? Join the conversation.
