Lynda Dell, a Pre-K-12 education feature writer, who has worked in early childhood education for 20+ years, started the Resilient Families Thrive blog to empower moms with young anxious children to grow more resilient, happier families during a pandemic.

She’s been working with mental health professionals, certified trauma therapists, and authors for science-based, mindful approaches, daily practices, activities, and techniques that build resiliency to curb children’s fear, reduce anxiety, and increase mindfulness.

Karen DeHaven, MA, BC-DMT, LPC, is the Founding Director of AHA! Studio for Integrated Therapies LLC. As a professional counselor and licensed dance/movement psychotherapist, she works with children, families and women who are ready to creatively work through their emotional and behavioral challenges.

With an advanced specialty of Counseling in Dance/Movement Therapy, Karen integrates both traditional and creative therapy techniques for verbal and non-verbal clients made possible by the transformative nature of the creative arts in therapy as an expressive pathway to healing.
