Interview: VP of Content and Product Solutions, Eric Anderson, on Samsung's Free the TV Challenge III

Earlier this summer (see the article published on itvt.com, July 25th), Samsung launched its third annual "Free the TV Challenge" connected-TV developer contest. This year's competition--subtitled "Second Screen Storytellers"--sees Samsung collaborating with the New York Television Festival (NYTVF) to foster the development of original multiscreen television series. The competition's winner will receive a production budget of $300,000 to create an original short series with accompanying second-screen material.

In this recorded interview, [itvt]'s Tracy Swedlow talks to Samsung's VP of content and product solutions, Eric Anderson, about why Samsung decided to focus this year's contest on second screen-enhanced storytelling, about the submissions the company is seeing for the contest, and more.
