Many people are hurting around the world. These hurting people hurt other people. We don’t want people to hurt others because they have been hurt themselves. Someone said, “Forgiveness is giving up the right to hate those who have hurt us.” Mark 11:25-26 (NKJV) states, “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” It is a commandment that we must forgive others in order for God to forgive us. Many people do not realize that they are blocking their own blessings in their lives, because they failed to forgive those who have hurt them, persecute them or are adversaries to their soul. It may also be causing their disease. In Michael L. Galiga’s book, “Win Every Battle Conquering Fear and Claiming Victory for Success in Life” he states, “Unforgiveness opens spiritual pathways for dark, demonic spirits to wreak havoc in your life. Forgiveness is mandatory to win every battle. Forgiveness means surrendering your rights to hold anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, judgments, or offenses. It means surrendering the situation to the Living God. There is no government or nation so evil that God will not forgive and save it. If we do our part, God will do His part. Parents should teach kids about forgiveness. Schools should promote forgiveness day by showing a movie or bringing a speaking in about bullying. We had Anita Fendall, President of Tease-Kids Fee Program. She is featured on our September 30, 2013 episode, which can be downloaded at www.blogtalkradio.com/isam. For the first 1.5 hours , it will be directed towards the kids under 10 and then the rest of the show is for teens. We will read biblical stories for kids and bless them. We will have a pray for the teens and talk about bullying and forgiveness.
