Church/Synagogue leaders have a heavy responsibility to lead people to God and lead them out of sin and they are not doing it. Pastor Gregory A. Boyd, author of God at War: The Biblical & Spiritual Conflict states, “We must take action by holding people accountable for their actions, helping those to overcome temptation, or "take up arms" against corporate greed, homelessness, against governments that systematically oppress the masses with institutionalize prejudice or injustices. He refers to it as “social activism”. Sin affects everyone in the nation, whether or not; you are committing sins like murder, fornication, adultery, or knowing the truth and not telling it. We are all connected spiritually. Everyone has a role to play in this spiritual war. It is not always God’s will. Satan does interfere or intervene. Do you remember how Daniel was constantly praying and fasting while waiting for an answer from God and Michael, one of the chief princes stated that the prince of the kingdom of Persia had detained him (see Daniel 10)? This is the last month of the Year of the Jubilee and many people worldwide are not free. As believers, we are called to stand up against injustices. We have the power to bring heaven down to earth. The Holy Ghost instructed me to ask the believers to join me for 21 days to pray & fast in one accord so three spiritual breakthroughs will occur. What better prayer than “The Lord’s Prayer”, which is a prayer of change. The power of prayer & fasting has significant powers against the devil & the devil knows it. Prayers are magnified when 2 or more are gathered together & God is in the midst of them. Who should be blamed for people dying prematuring and not teaching the full Gospel of the Kingdom of God?
