Today, we get bombarded with so many ads, promos and information about schools that we sometimes forget about the most important part of the process...YOU!
As someone with 3 degrees, I learned the hard way that choosing a college is more than just looking at a school that LOOKs like it has everything we need.
I want to take the time to share with you a few things
If you are at the beginning of your college journey, I don’t want you make the mistakes that I made. Here are a few things that you should consider:
1) Graduation Rate
2) Retention Rate
3) Job Placement for YOUR major
4) Financing your education
5) Direct Path (straight out of high school) or a side path (doing a few other things first)
6) Determine if you NEED to go college to achieve your mission
7) Talking to those who are DOING what you want to do
