Pastor. Priest. Man of the cloth. What comes to your mind when you hear these terms?

For many people, the expectation is that a religious leader be above reproach and without moral flaws. But is this realistic?

In recent years, we’ve watched as several religious leaders have fallen from grace. But those are just the public trials of well-known preachers. And my guess is… they’re extreme cases.

I’m just speculating, but my guess is most preachers and pastors and priests are very normal folks with very normal lives. In other words, they’re human, much like the rest of us. So what’s the average day like in the life of a preacher?

Joining us this month to talk about the very human side of a religious leader is Rev. Rayford Harper, Pastor of First Baptist Church of West Tampa.
