It's become frankly depressing to watch something I care about and put so much effort and energy into just slowly fade and die. I remember when it turned 30. Mostly because it was only 4 years ago, but also because it was the year that all the weight and aches and pains that used to just fall off of me like water off a duck's back started sticking around, instead. That's right, youngsters, beware. I don't know what the hell it was, but I had maintained a certain weight and a certain tolerable level of everyday pain for years with zero effort. Seriously, whether I ate a nice light salad or a box of those bigass sized Little Debbie Fudge Rounds, I stayed the same weight, all with little to no exercise. Almost as soon as I hit 30, though, that all changed. I suddenly found the moderate back pain I'd suffered before getting bad enough to make me want to hide in bed all day. And every single thing that I ate stapled itself directly onto my gut. In a nice little ironic twist, it somehow managed to do so despite me starting a pretty rigid workout schedule. I was literally walking 10 miles a day at one point to zero weight loss. Anywho. hooray for 30, I guess. This show won't be about the horrors of aging. Probably. Have them record and upload to the mainframe any pertinent conversations and info from the human camps and secret bases, then set them to self destruct or something.
