The Grand Rapids African American Health Institute (GRAAHI) is a non-profit organization committed to advocating for health parity in the African American community through promoting education and change in public health policy.

Evidence based research suggest that there continues to be racial and ethnic disparities when it comes to providing health care and health coverage for minority populations in the United States. African Americans and Hispanics make up approximately 28% of the population in the U.S. but make up 43.1% of the 50 million Americans that don’t have health coverage.

Ladies and gentlemen tonight on this episode of In Life Now Radio we are going to have an opportunity to speak up close with GRAAHI's Executive Director, Mrs. Shannon Wilson.

Mrs. Wilson also serves as the Vice President for the Alliance for Health, a broad based community coalition encouraging optimal health for all through high quality health care services at the lowest cost.

We are certainly in for an informative treat on this episode of In Life Now Radio so get tuned in & make sure you tell your friends!
