Join Felice and her guest, Tim Jacobs author, editor and columnist. Jacobs writes a monthly column in the Florida Weekly newspaper covering historic figures, places, and events of Lee County, and recently wrote and published H. E. Heitman: An Early Entrepreneur of Fort Myers, Florida, which focuses on the life and accomplishments of Harvie Heitman who practically built downtown Fort Myers.

He’s also the editor for a bimonthly magazine, Patriots of the American Revolution. Jacobs founded and began the publication after discovering his direct ancestor, Ezekiel Jacobs had served in the war. The publication has gone from a small following when it started in 2005, to a circulation close to 10,000.

His previous publications include Goodspeed’s Folly: The Life of William Henry Goodspeed and his Opera House (history of a small opera house in East Haddam, CT); Milestones & Memories: The History of the St. George Parish Church; and Basic Information on Research, Writing and Self Publishing.
