While often told that her handwriting was atrocious, she persisted, and upon discovering computers and learning how to type, she realized that she was no longer limited by her messy handwriting. Unfortunately, life and work and family have conspired to make it only possible to write in the wee hours or at coffee shops, so most of her love of reading and writing are indulged at times when only vampires and insomniacs abound.  Beginning in October of 2017, her love of writing and the characters in the world she has created burst into public view in her first book, Dream of Darkness, which follows the adventures of a group of girls fighting evil with abilities that H. M. Gooden would love to have. As a result, 4 am has become even busier trying to find out what will happen to her paranormal buddies in the future.   00:28:00Indie Authors Roundtablenoauthor, books, novel, publishing, nookWe talk books, her writing process and working with other authors057651d8-a652-4891-af41-b22b7788420e211fullFree for allhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieauthorsroundtable/2019/08/17/free-for-allBookshttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieauthorsroundtable/2019/08/17/free-for-all/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/indieauthorsroundtable/2019/08/17/free-for-allSat, 17 Aug 2019 20:00:00 GMTFree for allVisit Carole P. She is also particularly fond of Dutch cheeses and dark chocolate. As a child, she would force her brother into playing the ever-riveting game of "Library." She would write official looking information with a red Sharpie and Ryan would have the honored task of holding an inscribed, stinky book. This game had a short lifespan as Ryan soon realized that there were neighborhood children who would not make him suffer so. Decades later, Stuart turned to writing to cope with the isolation and charming chaos of motherhood. A few vignettes turned into the seeds for a novel, which turned into a two-book contract. The Heidi Elliott books, _Balancing Act_ and _Bottom Line_, while not autobiographical, were much cheaper than therapy. _Act Two: A Novel in Perfect Pitch_ is the story of a diva who gets stuck in the Midwest against her will. _Stretch Marks_, a modern love story set in Chicago, and _Operation Bonnet_, the story of a young girl with wild hair and her dream to be a PI in Amish country, together sold more than 40,000 copies.   Find her online by visiting the links below!
