Paula Roberts was born in England and moved to NYC in 1978. In London, she realized that she had a gift of being able to communicate with the ‘other side’. She developed her abilities of clairvoyance and mediumship at the Spiritualist Assn. of Great Britain. She also attended the American Franklin School for a graphology (hand-writing analysis) course. She continues to use it in her client work. She specializes in compatibility through handwriting samples. Her eBook ‘Unlocking the secrets hidden in your handwriting’ is available on Amazon. She has since been credited with having sensitivity considerably beyond chance of average ‘super psi’ by an eminent parapsychologist; this means it was proved that she can reach back in time and space and give information whose accuracy is verifiable--without ever knowing anything about the subject. Paula has worked full time as a clairvoyant counsellor for over 30 years and has a large international clientele. She is also known for her annual predictions in NY Post and other articles and TV appearances. She had a public access TV show in Manhattan for 16 years, giving mini-readings to viewers without any input from them.  A few years ago she was chosen as the Psychic Consultant for Broadway’s revival of ‘Blithe Spirit’. One of her great passions is doing experimental work as a paranormal investigator ‘ghost-hunter’ and this work has been documented in the ‘American Society for Psychical Research Journal’ and on TV. Her work at the General Wayne Inn (Phi) was filmed by ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ and is still being shown. 01:01:00Independent Artists and ThinkersnoPaula Roberts, psychic, mediumship, ghost hunting, graphologyEnglish Psychic Paula Roberts on Handwriting, Second Sight, and Hunting GhostsMusician David Sklar on the Lyrical Lifehttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/independentartiststhinkers/2015/10/29/musician-david-sklar-on-the-lyrical-lifeArthttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/independentartiststhinkers/2015/10/29/musician-david-sklar-on-the-lyrical-life/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/independentartiststhinkers/2015/10/29/musician-david-sklar-on-the-lyrical-lifeThu, 29 Oct 2015 17:00:00 GMTMusician David Sklar on the Lyrical LifeWhat does it take to fill your life with music? Lewis talks about love, sex, alphas, and Jungle Fever Press. Growing up, L.V. Lewis wanted to be an internationally known rock star, but unfortunately, lived in the wrong part of the country to pursue that career (and neither American Idol nor The Voice were available then). An early love for the written word gave her the plan B she sought. Her career as a contract manager was not creative writing by a long shot, but it didn’t require her to spend the hundreds of thousands of dollars required for a law degree. It does pay the bills while she dabbles in the publishing world as an author on the evenings and weekends. LV lives in Florida with her husband. They are the parents of four children, three of whom don’t think they need their parents anymore, so they share their home with a sweet female German Shepherd and an alpha male Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix who thinks he rules the world. Her love for writing is only eclipsed by her love for her family. Some of her books are Fifty Shades of Jungle Fever and The Ghetto Girl Quadrilogy. 01:00:00Independent Artists and Thinkersnoromance,L.V. These interactions proved to be some of the best and most valueable lessons she could have. She is a self-taught sculptor, highly skilled welder, and fabricator. Over the years, she has worked with many other materials such as wax and clay, but metal has always been the most appealing to her.  Insun Kim's work is based on her own experiences. Her work relates to themes of life and being alive. She says, "As a woman it is expected that you marry, have children and raise a family. There are many ups and downs in life whether they be the little everyday annoyances or the absolutely dreadful. My art has been there for me throughout such times and has provided me with a positive route to express myself. I love nature and being outdoors, and I also truly respect and cherish what god has made for us. From time to time I will find natural objects that seem to radiate beauty in their own way. It is my hope and my aim to merge this natural beauty with my personal experiences to produce an art, my art, which can channel and display both influences together." 01:00:00Independent Artists and Thinkersnofoundry, pouring bronze, metalsmith,Insun Kim,SculptureArtist and Foundress Insun Kim on Art and The Life of MetalDancer & Artistic Director Lori Belilove on Founding a Dance Companyhttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/independentartiststhinkers/2015/08/27/dancer-artistic-director-lori-belilove-on-founding-a-dance-companyArthttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/independentartiststhinkers/2015/08/27/dancer-artistic-director-lori-belilove-on-founding-a-dance-company/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/independentartiststhinkers/2015/08/27/dancer-artistic-director-lori-belilove-on-founding-a-dance-companyThu, 27 Aug 2015 17:00:00 GMTDancer & Artistic Director Lori Belilove on Founding a Dance CompanyWhat does it take to found and sustain an artistic institution?
