Nina Capone introduces the 1st episode of community conversations with a very special guest Chief Operating Officer of Nicetown CDC Ms. Majeedah Rashid who will tell us all about the programs, events and outreach that the CDC offers their mission, who's eligible to receive support and how to receive or provide resources.

The Nicetown CDC was founded in 1999 by members who collectively bring decades of experience in developing community. The CDC is located at 4414 Germantown Avenue, a historically significant property recognized by the Philadelphia planning commission as one of the strengths of Nicetown.

The Nicetown CDC Mission is to dynamically improve the quality of life in Nicetown and surrounding communities, by establishing sustainable community economic development.
