Fire and EMS personnel are confronting first-hand the impacts of COVID-19 every day. In addition to providing response and care to those impacted by the virus, these responders also are dealing with the challenges of ensuring their own health and safety and those of their crews.

In “COVID-19:  “Lessons from the Streets”, we talk with the men and women on the front lines about the challenges of dealing with this large-scale and unprecedented pandemic.  In this episode, we're joined by Lieutenant Sue Stangl and Firefighter/911 Dispatcher Hilton Almond with the Seattle (Washington) Fire Department as they address:

1.       Impacts on their community, workforce, and deployment
2.       Operational changes and innovation
3.       What other responders need to know to prepare
