How do I write about a man who has been so instrumental to my personal development in regards to 
loving, singing and performing the Blues: I Just start!
 
Around May, 2002 I arrived in Asheville, North Carolina. It was here that I was asked by one of my old band mate's Chad Hildebran to join him at an open mic night in Weaverville; It was this night that I met  a most wonderful and  kindred spirit, Mr. Chuck Beattie.
