We bless those days when Clint Holmes and his Dad would listen to Jazz together.  Bittersweet though those days may have been - at the Colored Musician's Club of Buffalo - that's when father and son bonded.  Clint said that he never saw his Dad happier than when he, a Jazz musician himself, listened to those acts in upstate New York.  No matter what kind of genre surrounded Clint through these various decades, it was THOSE moments - full of Jazz - that stoked the fire in his soul.

There would be forays into Rock, a stint in the military, and life in D.C.  Clint got a LOT of attention in Washington.  Through word of mouth one Christmas season, an engaging song that featured children got somebody's attention in a BIG way. Eventually, "Playground In My Mind" became a million seller.  And its success opened doors for Clint - in more ways than music.  No less than the late, great Joan Rivers took notice of him - Joan was big on professionalism.  And Clint becamer her sidekick on the brief but noteworthy TV show that she launched on Fox.  Our guest also has a knack for writing - and has written songs, yes - but cabaret events and acclaimed shows.  He's the TOTAL package: sublime singer, songwriter, actor, entertainer, You don't hear this word from yours truly at ALL - but Clint Holmes is a special kind of impressario.  Add to that: philanthropist.  He has made it a point to give until it hurts to many charities - including those involving children. One of those is close to many of our hearts: St. Jude's.

Clint has learned from the best - and WOW - did he learn well!  His brand new project is "Rendezvous" - a delectable journey of strong favorites that feature an array of mindblowing talent.  Artists that couldn't wait to lend their gifts to someone who has honed his for years :)  Join us on 3/9!
