We're expecting a full house on Thursday, 11/21/2013, so one more won't hurt - swing on by to The Chat Room!  Hey, we're gonna do some SWINGIN' anyway - because the trio known as "Swingin' In Tongues", arrives during the last hour of the show (3 p.m. Eastern!)

These groovy cats making the cool sounds are all based in the extended area of Washington, D.C. We got to know Todd Googins first, because he is married to the wondeful Karla Chisholm - you have heard her on "Hybrid Jazz" more than once!  Todd is gifted in multiple ways - but in THIS way his vocals are his strong suit - with Karla on a song, matter-of-fact - and with the added vocals of Wayne Wilentz, who also plays keys.  Jamieson Toby is on drums - and I'm told that he keeps the other two guys in line :)  Todd and Wayne join us on the show!

We're also going to debut some brand spanking new sounds that will take you OUT of this world and put you in a whole 'nother one that you love!  Bassist Sean Michael Ray has played with a multitude of household names, including Maxwell, and he has a new CD called "Overdue."  This bassist graces us with a track that will spin your head.  As does Gino Goss - who debuts "Black Zulu" on the show in the 3rd hour.  Gino visted "Hybrid Jazz" a few months ago - with Gary Fuston - and it was a charmed visit.  It's always a pleasure to hear the creativity this man has for us!

Jonathan Butler sets the tone at one p.m - kickoff time for this home game.  There's no one we'd rather have intercept than JB, who takes his cue from The Head Coach!  "Merry Christmas To You" is out - with both beloved holiday songs AND originals.  And Jonathan will tell us about his tour with Dave Koz that also features Oleta Adams and Keiko Matsui!  Soul-satisfying: that's our next show - join us :)
