HTTR - My Name vs. My Credentials and Future

In this past week Raven-Symone, co-host of The View, has come under fire for stating, "I'm not about to hire you if your name is Watermelondrea. It's just not gonna happen. …”, when speaking on the subject of “BLACK NAMES”. 

According to a "field experiment" by NBER Faculty Research Fellows, "Job applicants with white names needed to send about 10 resumes to get one callback; those with African-American names needed to send around 15 resumes to get one callback."

If this is true, then why is Raven-Seymone in the hot seat?
