StratEx is a Chicago-based Employee Lifecycle Management company (ELCM) that has been in business since 2003. Its mission is to provide cost-effective HR solutions for small to mid-size businesses, and does this by automating administrative burden through the Employee Lifecycle, mitigating the risk of employee-related issues, and assisting in the management of the Employee Lifecycle.
Adam Ochstein founded StratEx after seeing a gap in the marketplace. At the time, payroll companies were happy slugging it out with each other and the leased employee space (PEO’s) served a nice niche for smaller companies. There was nobody who offered a SaaS solution that automated in a paper-free fashion for applicant tracking, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, time and labor management and payroll. So Ochstein decided to build a platform that managed the entire employee lifecycle with one database. Since inception, Ochstein has led StratEx from a concept to one of the industry's elite Employment Lifecycle service companies focusing on the small and mid-sized business market.
Ochstein is a proven sales and management executive who has run both startup and large scale organizations in all aspects of technology for close to twenty years. Prior to StratEx, Adam held senior sales management positions with numerous technology startups.
